The communicative approach is used for this activity. The aim is to facilitate the acquisition of Italian language for a group of migrants. The knowledge of the Italian language represents the first step for them to be included in the world of work.

The objectives are:

  • to acquire communicative competencies (ability to apply Italian according to the particular context and to the linguistic aim);
  • to acquire linguistic competence (ability to speak a correct Italian, grammatical skills);

The text has a very central role. Participants will be lead through three steps: reading; comprehension; production. At the end participants will take an assessment test.

All activities are interactive and participants are asked to apply what they have learnt to their daily life.
